Training Centers

The Finishing Trades Institute’s Apprenticeship Programs incorporate four convenient training centers in Northern California and Nevada. The centers are located in San Leandro, CA; West Sacramento, CA; Las Vegas, NV; and Reno, NV.

A Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) consisting of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) members and union signatory contractors governs the Finishing Trades Institute West Programs. This labor/management cooperation ensures state of the art techniques are learned and safely applied on the job.
